Sausage Gravy

2 servings


4 ounces bulk sausage about 1/4 of a roll of sausage

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons flour


Brown sausage in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until slightly brown and fat has rendered out. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon flour over fat and sausage, stirring to coat. If the pan isn’t dry, add more flour until all the flour has been absorbed by the fat.


Add 1 cup milk and continue stirring over medium heat until mixture simmers and begins to thicken. Taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.


Serve over biscuits, toast, or bread. Enjoy!
